Motorola have unveiled the Moto G smartphone, which is being released in the UK for just £135. This is Motorola’s first UK phone since they were bought out by Google. The Moto G is aimed at the budget market (hence the price) but has some excellent specifications, such as:
- A 4.5″ HD display (1280×720 pixels)
- A quad-core processor (Qualcomm 1.2GHz)
- 1 GB RAM
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (with 4.4 KitKat update coming in a few months)
Some of the specs aren’t great (the rear camera is only 5 megapixels), but otherwise appears to be an excellent handset for the price. The phone is available in several bright colours, a la the iPhone 5C, but as it is much cheaper it may well be much more popular.
